Information Commissioner’s Office

The Commissioner is assisted by his Office as an expert service.  Professional tasks in the Office are performed by civil servants assigned to posts determined by the Ordinance on the Internal Order, to which the provisions of the law governing the rights and obligations of civil servants shall apply.

Within the Office, organizational units are organized for individual areas of work, in accordance with the type of work. There are three departments within the Commissioner’s Office: the Department for the Protection of the Right of Access to Information, the Department for the Monitoring and Promotion of the Right of Access to Information, and the Department for General Affairs. The internal organization and scope of services are governed by the Rules of Procedure of the Commissioner.
